Features:
1/2″ couplers and adapters will interchange with 3/4″ couplers and adapters, only the threads and barbs are 1/2″. 1-1/4″ couplers and adapters will interchange with 1-1/2″ couplers and adapters, only the threads and barbs are 1-1/4″.
Construction:
Manufactured from glass-filled polypropylene. 304 stainless steel handles. EPDM gaskets. 304 stainless steel pins.
Specifications:
Maximum operating pressure: 125 PSI (1/2″ – 1″), 100 PSI (1-1/4″ – 2″), 60 PSI (3″), and 50 PSI (4″); recommendations based on the use of mating Dixon® fittings at an ambient temperature of 70°F (21°C) with standard seal installed.
How It Works:
To make a connection, simply slide the adapter into the coupler and with normal hand pressure, press the cam levers down. Uncoupling is as quick and simple as coupling. Just lift the cam arms and remove the adapter.
Safety Notes:
Under no circumstances should cam and groove couplings be used for compressed air or steam service! Pressure rating is based on the seal of the mating part. Pressure rating recommendations are based on the use of mating Dixon® fittings at ambient temperature 70°F (21°C) with a standard seal installed. NOT recommended for use with PTFE gaskets, polypropylene cam & groove should not be mixed with metal fittings.
