KC046-W high purity NSF-61(11) certified tube material diminishes water quality concerns regarding surfaces which are contacted by potable water. KC046-W inner tube is less porous than the tube in commonly-used conventional rubber hoses, and is easier to flush and keep clean. Silicone-free. White inner tube and Blue cover reduce tendency for algae growth in warm, sunny environments. Extremely light weight – 22 to 25% lighter than conventional rubber hose, helps to reduce worker fatigue. Hassle-free and easier to use, requires less installation time than rigid pipe. Strong and durable, ideal for construction site environments. Heavy duty construction limits kinking in the hot summer sun. Good abrasion resistance. Does not leave a bad taste or odor in the water, unlike conventional rubber hoses.
